What is EcoTherm Eco-Versal?

EcoTherm Eco-Versal is a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core with an aluminium foil on both faces to enhance thermal performance.

Where can I use EcoTherm Eco-Versal insulation boards?

Pitched roofs and more

A thermally efficient solution for pitched roofs, dormer cheeks and loft ceilings (and floors), suitable for application over and between rafters.

Floors

Use Eco-Versal in new builds or in refurbishments to upgrade the thermal performance of existing floors. Apply above or below concrete slab, in block and beam or suspended timber floors, and as a base for underfloor heating systems.

Timber frame walls

Use between and over the studs of timber frame walls in new builds or to upgrade thermal performance during refurbishment. Also suitable for internal solid or cavity walls.

What does the foil on insulation boards do?

It may only be a thin layer of aluminium foil, but it helps to improve the thermal performance of the insulation board by reflecting heat. Because the foil is on both sides, the board helps to keep heat within a building (so it’s warmer in winter) and reflect heat from the sun (keeping it cooler in summer).
