How do you insulate pitched roofs with Recticel Eurothane boards?

Lightweight, easy to cut and easy to shape: it’s what makes Recticel Eurothane so simple to install. For pitched roofs, lay long edges parallel to the rafters, tightly abutted in a brick pattern. Ensure all board joints from eaves to ridge are supported by rafters.

Can you lay Recticel Eurothane in multiple layers insulation to insulate floors?

Yes. Where you are laying more than one layer of board ensure board joints are staggered.

Why are insulation board covered in foil?

PIR insulation board is already a highly efficient insulator. The foil enhances that further, reflecting heat. And because the foil is applied to both faces of the board, it reflects internal heat back into the building (great for winter) and reflects external heat back outside (ideal for summer).
