Traditionally, it wasn’t an easy thing to add sound dampening insulation to suspended ceilings. Soundproofing materials needed mass, mass meant weight, and if there’s one thing your suspended ceiling tiles could do without, it’s additional weight.
But the mineral fibre construction of these 50mm acoustic suspended ceiling encapsulated insulation bags enables more sound to be trapped, creating quieter, less echoey spaces beneath.
Incredibly easy to fit (simply lift a ceiling tile and place a pad on each of the tiles around it), each insulation pad is sealed, ensuring there are no fibres to contend with. Once the ultra-lightweight thermal ceiling insulation pads are in place, you can leave them to get on with the business of cutting your energy costs and creating a warmer, quieter space.
